About Us

The directors of Visiting Angels have always held the philosophy to provide the best care possible to seniors as well as others who need in home care while giving total respect to the care giving staff.

     Dr. Steven and Leslee Eisen are the directors of the agency which serves lower Sarasota and Charlotte Counties.

     After the difficult experience of losing their own parents, Steven and Leslee developed a deep appreciation and compassion for the difficulties families have when their loved ones age and need assistance.

     You are in charge of everything. Because we strive to maintain “continuity of care” (we keep the same caregiver you select with you as long as possible), VISITING ANGELS will not dictate to you what your schedule is to be (i.e. what time to get up, when to bathe, meal schedules etc.), as do some agencies that continually send new, unfamiliar staff. We also do not require you to adjust your schedule to accommodate the needs of our staff. You are the boss. It is our job to adjust to your schedule and to see to it that you remain comfortable in your own home.

     Our system provides top quality at affordable rates. Lower overhead allows higher pay to caregivers, giving you the best care available anywhere.

VISITING ANGELS is dedicated to the loving remembrance of Steven's mother Ruth, and Leslee's father, Jerry. When we needed emotional support for our families, we were at a loss. We were vulnerable and had no clue what to do. Our goal is to never have another family have to experience what we did.

Our mission is to support in every way possible, all family members going through difficult times, by lending an ear to listen, shoulders to cry on and vent, and give as much support in any way humanly possible.
